As a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with a passion for helping people live healthier lives, June provides her patients with personalized nutrition counseling for achieving optimal health and the prevention and treatment of diet-related medical conditions. In addition to providing nutrition counseling services to clients in her private practice, June also provides consulting services to the restaurant, hospitality, education, fitness and healthcare industries. Her expertise includes current trends in nutrition and wellness, food and nutrition analysis, development of nutrition education programs, and the creation of healthy food products.

The most unique aspect of June’s approach to nutrition counseling is her ability to share her enthusiasm and knowledge about food and nutrition with her clients, thereby assisting them to achieve their nutrition and wellness goals. Her experience in working with people of all ages, combined with her compassionate and down-to-earth attitude, promotes long-term relationships as well as successful outcomes.

June provides her clients with personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy, as well as weight management and wellness coaching services. As the Director of Nutrition at VivoHealth Fitness at ProHealth, a state-of-the-art fitness facility in New Hyde Park, New York, June offered nutrition counseling services to ProHealth patients, as well as an ongoing series of nutrition education seminars. She also assisted in coordinating and supervising a very successful Weight Loss Challenge for ProHealth employees.

June was a key participant in establishing quality nutrition services at the Hofstra Health Dome, a cardiovascular health and fitness center affiliated with Hofstra University. As Director of Food and Nutrition for over 15 years, June authored, Enlightened Eating for Better Health, a book which features practical guidelines and recipes for a lifelong, healthy eating plan. She also developed a line of over 50 healthy food products including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack selections. Many Long Islanders have developed healthier lifestyles by participating in June’s professionally supervised programs in wellness, nutrition and weight management.

June received her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition and Health from Cornell University and her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Public Health from Columbia University. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN). June is also an active member of the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the Greater New York Dietetic Association, the Long Island Dietetic Association and SCAN (Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition), dietetic practice groups of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
